Licensed in Minnesota & Wisconsin
JPJ Engineering is looking for field personnel to assist our project engineers by performing onsite observation of construction work and gathering relevant measurements to ensure compliance with the project's plans and specifications for projects in Northeastern Minnesota. The RPR works independently in the field to document construction activities, identify potential problems, and evaluate contractor performance using technical description and sound judgment. The PRP will serve as the liaison between our engineering staff, our clients, and various contractors, investigating complaints, assisting in the resolution of requests for information, and working to provide positive solutions to issues, complaints, and requests.
Qualifications
Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely, and professionally, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work independently and objectively in observing the work of others
Strong mathematical and organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Plan reading experience (preferred)
MnDOT Grading/Base/Bituminous/Concrete Certification (preferred)
Knowledge in survey methods (preferred)
This is a full-time, seasonal position. Local area travel will be required, mileage will be reimbursed.
