Hampton Inn and Suites

Hampton Inn and Suites wanted to develop a new three-story 78-room hotel, in conjunction with the redevelopment of the vacant Ogle's Family Foods site in Hibbing, MN. 

JPJ Engineering project details include:

• Concept site plan
• Project design
• Construction management for the redevelopment of the abandoned grocery store site
• Project management including schedules, reports, and attendance of city and regulatory meetings
• Geotechnical Services coordination

ZMC Hotels began working with the City of Hibbing and JPJ Engineering in November 2013. Financing included assistance from the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board (IRRRB) and a development agreement was secured with the city and construction of the hotel was complete in March 2015.
