Leech Lake Treatment Center

JPJ Engineering and the Meyer group worked with the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe in creating new facilities for the Opiate Treatment Center in Cass Lake, MN.  The new facility includes health, laboratory, and counseling facilities that handle 100 people a month plus their families. It is one of the largest tribal-operated opiate treatment centers in the United States.

JPJ Engineering began site work in the fall of 2013 and the facility was completed in the summer of 2015. The mission of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Opioid Treatment Plan is to provide a community-based, culturally focused substance addiction recovery service that will promote holistic health and a drug-free lifestyle.
